Quiche Lorraine For Breakfast, Brunch or Late Lunch

Simple and Tasty Quiche Lorraine

Ingredients:
Pie crust
5 eggs
2 cups of cheese (Gruyere is my favorite to use in quiche)
1 1/4 cup (mix of half and half and buttermilk)
Dash of salt
White pepper
1/2 of a small onion (chopped)
6 slices of thick hearty bacon (cooked and crumbled)
2 tbsp of flour
1 1/2 big slices of ham chopped up
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp white pepper

Bake your pie crust for 8-12 min or until it turns golden brown 400 degrees

Mix the 5 eggs, cream and seasoning together. fold in the grated cheese, ham and bacon.
Save a few bigger pieces of bacon to put on the top.

Add the mixture to the pan while the pie crust is still hot.
Lower the temperature of your oven to 345 degrees and cook for 50-60 minutes

Check it half way through to see how quickly it’s cooking. You do not want to overlook it.

When you can stick a toothpick or knife through it fairly easy and it sticks a little- take it out- it will continue cooking for a little bit after
