I stumbled upon Sushi Bistro a few years ago, when I started working in Kirkwood. I go here for lunch not nearly enough, but often! I went to lunch this past week with my friend, and realized I haven’t yet blogged about my experience here. So here you go! I know you are just itching to read more!!
I will be the first to admit, I did not start eating sushi until a few years ago. I really enjoy it now. I always start with edamame and potstickers. Eating potstickers all the time gave me the idea to make them at home too. The edamame here are good, but I always think they need more salt. I love when the sea salt is all over them.
I also get clear soup every chance I can get! I love the clear soup here!!! I always want extra servings.
We decided to sit outside for lunch. It was a beautiful spring day! The flowers outside are gorgeous. The view isn’t all that great because well you get to stare at Taco Bell, but the beautiful trees are distracting :).
We each ordered rolls also. I ordered the Fuji roll which consists of: spicy lobster salad, fried cream cheese and sweet hot chili sauce. It’s simple but just so tasty. I find myself craving this roll. Every single person I have taken here loves it as well.
I forgot to write down what my friend had. She enjoyed hers too. We might as well have licked our plates lol. We ate every last piece of our lunch. We were so full afterwords. It was awesome.
Not only do I really like the food here, but the service is always good too. The owner Jimmy is always waking around helping severs when they need it, and checking on his guests. I think it is also affordable. For three appetizers and roll my bill was $24. The roll was a decent sized roll too as you can see by the picture. They have lunch specials that are for how much food you get, are a great price. Here’s a sneak peak at the menu and selection of rolls they have. 
If you are hesitant to go because of the cost, check out Groupon. They often have lunch and dinner specials, and great deals for Sushi Bistro. I know you will want to go back after trying it!
